INSURANCE TECHNICAL STAFF POSITION
The insurance industry is looking for young and motivated individuals now more than ever and our agency is no exception. Our book of business is growing and we need a self-starter and critical thinker to join us during this phase. The ideal candidate would be licensed within six months of hiring and provide customer service and account support to the current agents while being trained to take on and manage his or her own book of business and an opportunity to earn commission.
The full time position would start with general customer and policy servicing including requested policy changes and reviews. On a daily basis the candidate would be responsible for reviewing and issuing change endorsements, certificates of insurance, cancellation notices, and other tasks as directed by agency producers. Upon licensing the individual would receive a “starting book” of current clients and begin managing renewals and selected new business. This will be a high intensity and low downtime position with the opportunity to advance and earn additional commission as new clients are brought in.
Requirements: Four year degree, honors graduate preferred, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), critical thinking abilities – no prior experience necessary, all training will be provided. Licensing would require outside work study.
